My daughter is finally back from her trip. It seemed like forever but at the same time it seems like she just left yesterday. I got to the airport about 30 minutes late. The train got stuck and the bus was running slow because it was raining. It was raining when she left also, that's how much rain we have been getting. I thought she was going to be in a bad mood (she can be very impatient) when I got there because I was late. Fortunately her flight was delayed by an hour, I got lucky! I feel complete now that she's home as corny as it sounds but oh so true..

I took some pictures as she was coming out and she was quick to say Ma' what are you doing? She was embarrassed for some reason. To me is something normal. When I was young and living in Puerto Rico whenever my grandmother was returning from NY it was an event. At least 5 of us would go pick her up at the airport. We would take pictures and then have a big dinner. After dinner we would gather around to see what did she bring from los Nueva Yores, lol. Aww, the good old day!♥

On to this week's PhotoHunt even though I'm a day late. This week's theme is Creamy! I of course didn't have a picture with anything creamy so I had to take one. We were getting ready to eat dinner and this is where I got my picture. I like the way it turned out, lol. If you would like to join the fun go here!

Friday Fill-Ins.

Sorry I'm late with the Friday Fill-Ins. I was busy yesterday and by the time I was finished all I wanted was sit down and relax. Haven't been blogging lately mainly because I feel I have nothing to say. I have been wrecking my brain to come up with something but nada. I read all of the cool blogs and the bloggers pour their life in it. They write about their family, jobs with pictures etc. For personal reasons I can't do that, at least for now.

1. All children alarm their parents, if only because you are forever expecting them to get hurt.

2. Show me a good loser and I will show you a person with a big heart.

3. Eating something you don't enjoy is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs at one time.

4. Too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy trying to be celebrities and finding more ways to make money even if it is by breaking the law.

5. I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine friendship and women.

6. It is impossible to think of any good meal, no matter how plain or elegant, without cheese or some kind of sauce in it.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to resting, tomorrow my plans include blogging, laundry, a movie and Sunday, I want to do more laundry!

It's Friday again, yay! I'm feeling a lot better, thank God. Just have the annoying and sometimes head exploding cough! That will last me a good week but I'm not complaining.

It's a sunny day here so far and I'm looking forward to going out to run errands and walk around a bit since I don't have to worry about getting home early because it's Friday. Hope everyone is enjoying their day.♥

Little Under the Weather.

Sorry I haven't been blogging much but I haven't been feeling well. I have a cold, not sure if should call it a cold yet because all I have is a sore and a cough that makes my chest and my throat hurt. Either way I feel crappy and all I want to do it drink something warm for the pain to go away. That's what I'm doing now, sipping on a boiling cup of coffee. Took two Tylenol multi-symptom cold pills, crossing my fingers I will feel better later. I'm running out of medicine and Halls so that will be on my to do list for today.

Then there is my toothache, I've had it for about a month or more. I have been clenching my jaw because of stress, I catch myself doing it and I stop but by then my teeth already hurt. Needless to say I have been keeping an Orajel tube next to me along with a mountain of Q-tips. Wanted to save money so I bought Orajel thinking the pain wouldn't last long. Nope and the thing works for about 3 minutes and then is back to pain! I made a dentist appointment but kept changing it because mainly, well I'm a chicken shit. Or I have something else to do on the same day.

I was planning on going this week but now I have a cold and I don't know if you have ever gone to the dentist while you have a cold. It's the worse thing ever! The dentist is working on you and all a sudden you get the urge to cough! Ugh! You are sitting there turning blue because you know you can't cough, you don't want to loose a piece of your lip, lol. I'm sure the dentist wants to smack you, you keep asking him to stop and all he wants to do is get it over with so he can see the next patient. Hopefully by next week my cold will be gone and I'll be able to see the dentist with diapers and all.♥ Pin It Now!

Whenever I think of presents I think about the kids. It's always, oh the kids would love this! Well, since turning the big 4-0 I have started to think more about myself. Another birthday is coming soon and I think it's time to get something for myself and myself only! I'm buying an Xbox 360 console! I love how good the graphics are on video games these days and how much you can do. Yes, I'm a bit of a techie.

I'm going to need some extra things like a camera and a mic of course and that's when my friends coming in! I know they will ask me what do I want for my birthday like they always do. My answer is always nothing really. Not this year, this year I'm saying I want some of the hottest games to use with my new toy. Mami needs some fun too!

It's a sunny day here and not hot at all. Well, inside my apartment it doesn't feel hot and I'm loving it! Surpringnly I don't hear much buzz going on outside. Normally is very noisy, not that I'm complaining!

Makes me wish I had gone outside today but after yesterday walkaton (had lots of errands) under the rain all I want to do is relax. Plus my son has a cold and he's not in the mood to go out. My daughter is still on her trip and I'm missing her like hell. Well, not like hell because I don't miss hell, lol. You get the idea! ♥

TGIF! So so glad the weekend is here. It's only 8:34 but I'm sleepy like if it was 12 AM. Hopefully I will stay awake to watch some of the shows I have recorded, need to empty my DVR.

Thursday Thirteen - Things I Have To Do!

I have been busy with life and still in a funk so my mind goes blank once I click on new post, lol. As I type this I'm making weird slurping noises to annoy my son (he's playing video games) and get myself in a peachy/goofy mood, lol. He looks at me says Ay Ma' and laughs, lol. I don't annoy him easily unless I tell him go to sleep, turn off the TV, take a shower or wash the dishes! ♥

On to this week's Thursday Thirteen because I have to go eat dinner (Alfredo chicken fettucini, yum)! My 13 are things I have/want to do before Sunday!

1. Shred tons of papers.
2. Wash curtains.
3. Back up my files and pictures on disks.
4. Empty my inboxes.
5. Bathe our cat and clip his nails.
6. Watch the movie we rented.
7. Empty (or at least half) my DVR.
8. Do laundry.
9. Throw away some junk.
10. Post on my Blog.
11. Clean, clean, clean.
12. Pick up the mess I have on my desk.
13. Put some things on Ebay.

I took these pictures (click picture to enlarge) and a video some time ago when I went to Manhattan and Brooklyn but kept forgetting to post them. The video is about a group breakdancing, doesn't look too good because the sun was hitting me and I was shy to move in closer. I enjoy them a lot just as long they are not doing it inside the train, don't want to get kicked in the face! Heck, I used to do some freestyling myself back in the days so I know how cool it can be! I can still remember my grandmother yelling Mira carajo sal del medio de la calle! LOL The good old days...♥
