About time we get a quarter! He, he. The U.S. Mint will be releasing 5 quarters to commemorate the U.S. territories and the first one will be Puerto Rico. As you can see by the picture is going to look really nice! I will be looking for one and I'm saving it. Yes corny but what the hell I'm a jíbara so things like that get me excited, lol. Anyone else saving one? Viva Puertorro coño!

Sony's Playstation 2 is going to cost $99 starting tomorrow! Yes, I'm sure that some people will say eh Playstation 2 is "old' news already. Well, not everyone wants or can spend over $400 for the PS3 so this is a good alternative especially if you are getting it for the kids or even yourself. Plus the games are not as expensive. It's better than nothing and if you are a graphics freak like me, PS2 graphics are pretty good! Think about it, back en mis días it was a little dot in the screen moving around with a beeping sound! Man did I get excited running after that dot, lol. Sony is going to make some money out this price cut that's for sure.

Microsoft Encarta is closing down. It has been around since 1993! This is something I never thought I would hear but with free online encyclopedias who would want to pay. I purchased Encarta twice and it was a neat thing to have, very convenient. No more going to the neighbor to use their encyclopedia or going to the library. Just pop in a CD and voila, you have all the information you need. We didn't have an encyclopedia when I was growing up, we couldn't afford it. It wasn't until much later that we finally got the basics, dictionary etc. That's why when I saw it for the first time I thought it was the coolest thing ever!

I realize I might be a bit late blogging about this but I thought if I can spread the word even hours earlier why not. I was doing a google search when I saw the link for Earth Hour 2009. It took me a minute to realize today is March 28! Duh, lol. So people take out your candles tonight and Vote Earth! Turn off your lights for one hour from 8:30PM to 9:30PM local time. There are also other tips on how to conserve energy so make sure to check it out! Vote Earth!

It's a "quiet" and cloudy day in NY so far, I'm listening to music (Kid Rock, All Summer Long) to get myself out the blue mood. Looks like is going to rain but I have to go out so I hope the rain will wait until much much later. Hate having to walk around with sticky soggy clothes. Rain, rain wait until I get home tonight!Tonight is parent/teacher conferences and although I would prefer going in the afternoon, I have an appointment tomorrow so I have no other choice but to go today. So tonight, is going to be sandwich night because we are going to get home late and tired from all the stairs we are going to climb! That's not going to be fun for me.

I'm back after disappearing for a while, was going through some personal stuff and couldn't keep paying for my blog hosting so I had to let it go. I was sad to loose it but after updating the software it was hell to sign in and most of the things didn't worked anymore so I guess it was for the best. My old blog was isolatedexistence.com.
