If you want to be a star, this is your opportunity! Hallmark has a contest where you enter a funny Valentine's Day card. The card can be sexy and suggestive or sweet and sappy but it "has" to be funny. You can enter up three cards for different categories, for him, for her or for anyone. Visit their page for inspiration, tips and rules!

Maxine's Crabby Contest - Be A Hallmark Star!

Hallmark has another contest going on, Maxine's Crabby Contest. What do you need to do? Send in a picture of yourself or of someone you know dressed as Maxine. Add a caption or message to make a funny Birthday, Hang in there or Get well card. You could win $250 plus the chance to have your card sold in stores or online!

Reminder, it has to be a photo. No doodles, sketches or drawings. You could entered one card for each category. You could include a dog if you like. Check Maxine.com for more inspiration. Hallmark is having another contest to be a Hallmark Star. Here is what you need to do. Take a vintage photo and turn it into a funny card for any of the occasions listed below. You can enter a card for each occasion; meaning you can enter five cards. Deadline is January 23! Go to their site to read more about the rules and get tips on what you can do.

You could win $250 and your card would sell at hallmark.com. You could win $250 more if they decide to also sell your card in thousands of stores across the country! How cool is that!

Countdown To Halloween!

Are you like me who loves Halloween? You enjoy watching movies or programs with your familia/family? Then the Hallmark Halloween countdown is what you need! Starting October 25th the Hallmark Channel will be airing programs and movies counting down to Halloween. Like The Martha Stewart show or the movie Growing the Big One with Shannen Doherty. I'm so happy to see her doing TV again. Loved her on Charmed! If you would like to see the trailer click on the link below. Looks like a good movie that you can enjoy with your kids without having to worry about anything inappropriate. Many thanks to Hallmark for that. My kids are all grown up but I do get upset that movies without some type of innuendo are scarce these days. And who doesn't love Edward Scissorhands!

Sadly we won't be able to see the movies because we don't have that channel, can't afford it. We'll wait until it comes out on DVD. Of course it won't be the same. But for all of you who have the channel, mark your calendars and prepare the popcorn or candies!

Not too long ago I posted a contest from Hallmark for teens. Well, they have the same contest but this time is for grown ups! Yes, you could be a Hallmark Star too. Here is what you need to do to enter. Send in an original funny card inspired by your job, coworkers or the NBC show The Office. How cool is that! You could use photography, illustration or a design.
