Latino Happenings in Nueva York! Dec 1-7

Dec. 1 
Flamenco: Madrid-based dancer Soledad Barrio and her acclaimed troupe Noche Flamenca return to the city for a six-week run at the Cherry Lane Theater, 38 Commerce St., West Village, 8 p.m., $45-$60. Through Jan. 12.

Mix: Percussionist Bobby Sanabria and spoken word artist Caridad (La Bruja) de la Luz, at the FB Lounge, 172 E. 106th St., 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. shows. No cover.
BOOKS: Colombian author and poet Miguel Falquez-Certain presents two of his books, "Triacas" and "Mañanayer," at the Centro Español, 239 W. 14th St., 6 p.m. Free.
