Katy Perry's Music Video - Wide Awake

So if you remember my last post where I posted music videos, I mentioned that I needed a graphic card to be able to enjoy videos on HD. Well, I finally bought one and boy what a difference! I tested it with Katy Perry's latest video. I don't get tired of watching it. I love it! I so can relate to this song, another one dedicated to her ex-husband even though she says is not of course. My favorite part of the video is when she's in the wheelchair and the little girl moves the guys out of the way. I like the whimsical tone it has, then again that's Katy's style... 

Of course with my luck my happiness was short-lived after I noticed they had sent me the wrong card. I was pissed as hell (this is my first time ordering from that site), but I had decided to keep it. Then the person I spoke to when I called to let them know of their mistake, told me that it was best to return it. That they would send me the correct one. Good customer service or they don't want a bad review. So, once again I will be without a graphic card for about 2-5 days. You are probably thinking so what? Well, after using my computer with a graphic card, being able to watch Netflix, it's going to be hard to go back to my slow PC. It sucks having to wait, coño! Reason why I hardly ever order from the internet.

I set up my DVR to record this concert but it ran out of space at 26 minutes, argghhh! I'll watch it tomorrow. In case you are a fan and you missed it, here is one of the songs she performed. It has to be awesome to hear her sing in person. Like we say in Puerto Rico, como Adele no hay ninguna! I can hear her sing for hours...♥♥

Shakira & Rihanna's Latest Music Videos!

These are the latest music videos from Shakira (Addicted To You) and Rihanna (Where Have You Been). I love both videos/songs! Great songs to dance to. Shakira is looking better than ever. Love how sexy she looks without looking slutty, if you know what I mean. The outfit with the polka dots blouse, love it! One of the lyrics, Quiero que te dejes querer. For some reason I find that lyric sexy as hell, lol. Am I  the only one who finds it sexy?

Rihanna's video is completely different. Great video as usual. She almost never disappoints with her videos. She changes looks a few times which is one of the things I like. The dancing is hot, I wish I could see it on TV to enjoy it fully. My pc graphics card sucks, so I can't see it in full HD. Oh, one thing I noticed, she lost some weight. She's looking a little bit too thin. I don't mean to criticize, but she's never been one to look really thin, so I was surprised...

Jennifer Lopez & Madonna's Latest Music Videos.

Here are the latest videos of Jennifer López and Madonna. I like both videos but can't say I love them. As you can see Jennifer López made the mistake of putting her boyfriend in one of her videos again. After the Ben Affleck mess (they were everywhere, overexposed), you would think she wouldn't do it again. Guess not. I can't look at them without thinking he could be her son. Uy. I like the beat of the song but the lyrics are bad. Meh.

Madonna's video, I like it and I also like the song (great song to dance to), but I could have done without the oversexed up video. You might say I'm an old lady for not loving it, but after seeing her work over the years, including the Sex book, I want to see something different. Not the same thing over and over again. After a while it just gets, meh.

Katy Perry Music Video - Part Of Me

This is the latest music video from Katy Perry. I love this song a lot. I so can relate! Although she says she wrote it before she met Russell Brand (her ex-husband) it sounds like she wrote it just for him. Who knows. I did the same thing she did in the video for the army, after I separated from my first husband. Problem was, I needed to loose 30 pounds, lol. I never lost the weight and I'm glad I didn't at the time. My poor kids would've had to stay with my mother. She treated them like shit while I was going to school, imagine if I had to be away for months at a time. Dios sabe lo que hace!

Anyway, check out the video. It is very empowering, at least for me it is! My thoughts and prayers to all the women/men who risk their lives daily for this country. What do you think? Do you like the video?

Vevo Gets A New Look.

I love watching videos on Vevo because their videos are mainly HD. I don't have any of the cable channels where you can see videos so I have to settle for watching them online. Vevo just updated their site with a bigger player. I love it! They made more changes, you can now see the lyrics, but the one that I like the most is the size of the player. Keep in mind that if you don't have a good graphic card you will have some trouble playing the videos because of the size. I don't have a separate graphic card, I'm using the one from the motherboard so it sucks. I have to close everything else on my pc to be able to play the videos normally. Go check it out! Meanwhile enjoy these two videos.♥

Florence + the machine - Never Let Me Go. I love her music ever since Dogs Day Are Over. I have her both of her latest CD's on my Spotify list. 

Jessie J - Domino. I like this song (very catchy), heard it for the first time on the radio two or three weeks ago. This is first time I see her, completely different from what I thought she would look like.

I know this video has been out for some time but I just saw it last night for the first time and I love it! I watched it three times, brought back some good memories. The ending was a surprise though. It just hit one billion views on Vevo. They posted it on Google+, that's how I found it. This song plays a lot on the radio so I basically sing it everyday while I'm cooking. Not that I can sing, but it gives me joy to screech like a banshee.

This is Kelly Clarkson newest video. I have been a fan since the beginning. I really like this song as well as the video! This is my newest anthem, lol. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone! This is the next CD I'm buying, have to change up from Adele. Mis hijos are tired of hearing the same songs over and over. Ha! Enjoy the video.♥

Lady Gaga's Marry The Night Music Video!

I love this video! To be honest, I didn't wanted it to end! It was like watching a movie. IMO, this is one of Lady Gaga's best music video yet. I just wish the part when the video hits 12:37 where you can see her leaving the apartment, the bathroom scene, was a bit slower. It changes too quickly between scenes. Yes, I paused those parts because I wanted to see everything, lol. According to her interview about the video, it's based on parts of her life. I often forget she's only 24-25 years old, she looks like she's in her 30's because of all the make up she wears. Although lately she has been wearing less.

The latest video, Someone Like You from Adele is out. OMG, I love it! Another song that gets to the core of your alma/soul, coño. I so enjoy her music, too bad it wasn't around over 10 years ago when I needed it the most. Wow, tearing up as I listen to her music. Guess I'm not over it yet...♥

The new music video from Jennifer Lopez is out! The song is called Papi. I am a fan of Jennifer Lopez but I'm not a fan of this video. It started like it was going to be a great video, but then it went downhill until the last minute. The last minute was cute. Don't get me wrong I like the song (has a catchy beat) but the video needed a different look. A bit gritty and realistic would have been better. What do you guys think?!

Lady Gaga's Latest Music Video!

Lady Gaga did it again! She definitely made up for her Edge of Glory video with her latest, You and I. Some of her fans were unhappy with the Edge of Glory video. That it was simple, that she could have done something different with it. I thought so too but we can't always get what we want, right? 

Well, this one has plenty to look at. Feels like a short movie. She appears in different ways, from a simple look to a mermaid to the bride of Frankenstein sort of. You get the idea. I simply love it! I don't get tired of watching it. Thanks to Spotify I have been listening to her whole album. One of my favorite songs is Bloody Mary. I hope her next video is for that one! What do you guys think?

Note: The video is a bit raunchy so I wouldn't recommend watching it with kiddies around.

I was just thinking about this today while I was doing the dishes and listening to her song Edge of Glory. Wondering when she was going to release the video. Two hours later I checked twitter and there it was! I was like a child with a candy, lol. How embarrassing!

Anyway, I like the video but I got so used to her videos being so extravagant that I kept waiting for something else to happen like dancers coming out or someone else. I checked the comments and most of the people were saying the same thing. To me it was her celebrating New York and how far she has come. That's Lady Gaga for you, she always has a surprise. What do you think? ♥♥

Here is Shakira's latest video. I like the song a lot, the video could have been better. I didn't care for the pole dancing part. In my opinion it doesn't seem to go with the video at all. She looks very pretty with the short hair though. Good style for her. 


Another new video, Rihanna's Man Down. I have to say I like the song a lot also, has a nice beat. However, the video has been criticized a lot because they say it promotes vigilante justice. Me, I'm in between. What do you think?

By now most of you probably have seen Jennifer Lopez new video. I have to admit that at first I didn't like the song that much but now that I have heard a few times I like it. The video however could have been so much better. I kept waiting for something else to happen. Like really cool dancing moves or something to make you go wow but nothing. Was a bit disappointed with this video but I am still a fan of course! What do you guys think?

This is one of those songs that gets to the core of your soul and makes you want to sing it to the top of your lungs! She's such a great singer, very talented. I remember hearing Chasing Pavements on the radio and thinking who is that! I googled her and got the song the same day, lol. Enjoy her new video!
