Happy Earth Day to everyone! I wrote a post yesterday about things you can do today and tomorrow here in NY. It was a beautiful day, I'm sure the events were/are full. We had a few thunders and a bit of rain but it cleared up. Thank God because I have to go back out to do food shopping. You know when I go food shopping when I get home I hate cooking and end up making something quick for dinner. Usually pizza or sandwiches. Am I the only one?

So glad is Thursday! I have become addicted to The Vampire Diaries, I'm embarrassed to say, lol. I love it though, it has good characters and a good story. Plus who doesn't love vampires! Damon has become one of my favorite characters, at first I hated him now I like how evil/good he is. Then there is Supernatural another show I watch every week, I don't miss it. There is also Fringe and Flash Forward tonight, I'm going to be in total bliss. Thank God for the invention of the DVR! I remember the days where I had to have two vcr's recording while watching another show, lol. I still have a box or two full of them! Sad but true.

My oldest demon (aka Demon #1) is in Oklahoma! The musical this weekend. Yep, my kid is a drama geek. Have you ever been in a play or musical? Were you in the drama club in high school?

This week flew by, can't believe today is Friday already.  Not that I'm complaining but that means the Holidays are going to be over soon and I like the Holidays even though we don't do much and this year we will be doing less.  I like the spirit, people are nice (although there is always a Bitch or two) and I enjoy the Christmas lights.  Haven't been to the city to see the tree and the window displays, hopefully we will go this weekend and take tons of pictures!  I'll share some of course.

1. Sometimes when you are sitting around doing nothing, a thought randomly pops into your head. How many measuring cups do you own?

2. What is your favorite ice cream topping?

Caramel, yum!

4. Were you one of the insane humans who went to a store last Friday?

5. There are 12 months in a year, anywhere from 28 - 31 days in a month, depending on the year, of course. Each day holds a special meaning for someone, some days hold a special meaning for everybody. Do you have a 2010 calendar yet?

6. Kids are funny sometimes and say the darndest things, but it's ok because they are kids and they are so adorable. A two year old is cute when they say a swear word. Admit it, they are. What was your favorite nursery rhyme growing up? Hey - if you don't have a favorite, just work with me here and pick the first one that fell off the wall and broke like an egg or came out of the sky like a cow who just jumped over the moon.

7. Most of us have some type of machine that people like to call 'vehicles'. Some are blue, some are yellow, some are red. Some have trunks, some have beds and some even can't decide if they are a car or a truck. We put gas in them, check the oil and drive them all over the place and stop them in places called parking spots. Picture in your mind the machine you currently own and if you own more than one, picture the one you last drove - when was the last time you had a new tire on it?

Do you agree?

Don't agree, they said something similar about 2000 and we are still here!

11. Butterfly, butterfly fluttering through the air, please don't land on my freshly washed hair. What brand of shampoo did you use this morning? (and for those of you who still stink.. think of yesterday morning... and if that still doesn't apply to you - go get your stinky butt in the shower!)

Hello! Sorry I haven't been blogging a lot lately. Have been busy, I come online to catch up a bit and check emails then I'm off again. So here I am trying to catch up with my Blog because tomorrow I'm going to be out most of the day.

Can't believe the summer is gone already! I'm definitely enjoying the weather. My daughter started school and she's so happy. She gets excited about getting the new books, school supplies and she was tired of being home everyday! My son however, his school starts next week and I'm not looking forward to the whole wake up, go to sleep, finish your homework routine. I want to pull my hair sometimes, lol. Plus I enjoy having them home, I know I might the only one though, lol.

1. Your thoughts on truck drivers?

I would like to learn how to drive one myself! Although it has to be hard for them to be away from their families.

3. Have you ever done something to hurt someone intentionally... just for the sole purpose of hurting them because you thought they deserved it? Maybe a paybacks a bitch sort of thing?

Yes but nothing illegal or drastic. If you knew the person you would understand!

4. Is there anyone in your life that when you go to their place of residence, you just walk in without bother knocking? Does anyone just walk into your house without knocking?

Nope not anymore. No one comes to my house, lol.

5. Whats in the trunk of your car? Do you even have a clue?

Don't drive and don't have a car.

6. When you go to a family holiday get together (such as Christmas or Thanksgiving), about how many people are there?

I don't go to family holidays get together.

7. What is in your kitchen sink right at this very moment?

Three plates and 3 glasses.

8. You go to a store to buy an expensive item... say $150. You pick up that item and a couple other this n' thats. You get to the register and the expensive item rings up at $40. The cashier doesn't seem to notice and tells you your total. Do you go with what they say and pay it or do you question the price difference? You know you would question it if your $40 item rang up at $150....

Depends on my mood, if I'm having a rotten day then I'll leave it while thinking to myself this is for all the times I have been ripped off!

9. Do you fold your underwear or do you just toss it in a drawer?

Depends on my mood again, lol.

10. There is a Harley-Davidson giveaway. Chances are $100 and they are only selling 250 tickets. Do you buy one?

Nope, can't afford to blow off money like that!

11. Who is your favorite Disney character?

Dory from Nemo and Wall-e.

12. It's September - most of the weekly sitcoms/dramas are starting new seasons again. Which one are you most looking forward to?

Lost, Fringe, House, Heroes, Smallville, Supernatural & Medium.

13. You are at a grocery store and are on your way out to your car with your cart full of grocery bags. On your way to your car you see a black kitten in an empty cart. What do you do?

I would look around to see if it belongs to anyone and would try very hard to keep walking!

14. Is there anything that you do for a hobby that you are asked to do for friends/family that most people would hire a professional to do? (example: cake decorating, fixing cars....)

I don't consider it a hobby and I no one asks me anymore (LOL) but I'm good at putting things together. Could be electronics (setting them up and connecting them with other things) or desks, tables, bookcases etc.

Time for Thursday Thirteen, yes I'm late with this one, lol. Sorry but have been busy with appointments and life. Not to mention some of the meds side effects haven't gone away so sometimes that slows me down.

My Thursday Thirteen are Things I Use to Beautify Myself! If you would like to join the fun click on the link or the image! Enjoy your day everyone...♥

1. Mascara - I'm going to back to Maybelline's Big Lash though.
2. Face scrub - I buy the big size because it brings lots of more grains.
3. Blush
4. Lash curler - A must have!
5. Eyebrow mascara - Color natural. To tame my eyebrows and make them a bit darker.
6. Powder foundation - Normally I use Mac Studio Fix + Foundation but again, budget!
7. Lip Gloss
8. Leave in Treatment from Infusium 23
9. Concealer - It's expensive but it last a long time because it brings a good amount.
10. Highlighting eye shadow - I use the Matte color.
11. Pressed powder - Blot
12. Eyeliner - Used to use one from Almay but it didn't last long & I'm on a budget!
13. Eyebrow filler - Couldn't find the one I have, it was discontinued by Mac! Nooo!

I'm not the best person to offer that type of advice, lol.

If we have been talking for months then I'll still go on the date and see how it goes. If we just started talking I would pretend I got a text about a family emergency and leave.

My cat's shampoo.

Don't remember!

8. What kind of oil do you use when you cook?

Vegetable

9. If someone takes an unflattering picture of you and posts it online, do you beg them to take it down or do you laugh at yourself with everyone else?

I'll get pissed as hell and then I would beg them to take it down.
