Once inside Ripley's we got our tickets and off we went. One of the first things we saw was the tallest man. We wanted to take a picture next to it but there were people looking at it so we kept walking. We saw shrunken heads (those were very creepy to look at), animals with 2 heads, jewelry that were made out fingers, tribes masks and weapons. There were so many things to look at, we were like kids in a candy store. I can't named them all. You can see some of the pictures and video below and we took a lot more.
There was an area where they had instruments that they used to torture people back in the 1500 to 1900's. I am glad I wasn't born on those times! Some of them you were able to see how they work by pulling a handle or pushing a button which made the whole thing more scary, lol. Then there was the music, they had music according to the theme of the area. A few occasions my daughter got scared because it was dark and the music would add to the creepiness, lol. One of the areas we loved the most was the one where we had to walk through tunnel that gave the illusion that you were going to fall of the sides of the bridge. It was fun but I also was hanging to those rails like a lunatic while laughing non stop, lol. Everyone loved it, people kept going back and forth. My son took a video while we were walking through but it was really dark, all you can hear is OMG!
What else can I say we had a blast! The weather was great because it was cold. I took my coat and although I was sweating a bit inside it paid off when we left because it was really windy! After we went to Mc Donald's next door to eat dinner. Then we took some more pictures/videos outside before heading home. This is the first time in a long time that I actually have celebrated Mother's Day and I am glad we won the tickets if not I would have spent the day sitting at home watching TV! This made our DAY & WEEKEND!♥♥
oooh that looks like so much fun!
